Wren McMurdo Brignac
Illustrator, Painter, Designer & Creator
Welcome! I’m a digital illustrator inspired by cycles in nature, women, femininity, diversity, and my PNW home, where I live with my spouse Schquay, pup Bonni, and birds RuPaul and Bo Birdham.

Dark Days Tarot, the first deck I self-published with the help of Kickstarter, was inspired by the shadowy last days of the lunar cycle, a typical time for reflection, and deepened intuitive knowledge. It's designed for those with wide emotional ranges, and anyone who feels a strong connection to the moon and tides.

Within the container of a Tarot card reading, I’m able to think broadly and truly honor my feelings. The ritual of reading cards creates a safe space for my mind to heal and contextualize information. It seemed only wise to create a Tarot deck as a tribute to the wisdom and healing that darkness offers.

In 2021 I released my second deck, the Mother Tarot. It's about Earth, birth, and creativity. It took three years to illustrate it, and during the time of its creation, I and my partner pondered the possibility of children. We continue to do so.

Both of my decks together come together to in part reflect my bipolar mind, which ultimately puts me in touch with my own cyclical nature.

Please enjoy my blog, which features articles about Tarot card reading to help you if you need help.

I hope my art helps to expand your intuition, dive into reflection, spark your creativity, and adapt to the tides of life.

Schquay Brignac
Business and Romantic Partner
Schquay Brignac is my spouse. She has over twenty years of entrepreneurial experience, and when she's not brokering a real estate deal in the King County, Washington area, she's kicking ass on the basketball court or golf course.

We met in LA when I was going to school for fashion design and she was a designer of androgynous sportswear.
