21 - The World Card Meaning - Mother Tarot Major Arcana Card XXI

The World | Mother Tarot by Wren McMurdo Brignac

The World is drawn when a cycle is complete, signaling time for a long holiday, retirement, or the closing of an entire chapter. Perhaps palliative care is in order, one task being to watch the choreography of the clouds, grass, campfire, and waves after minimizing down to core needs. Another is listening for the groan of the mountains or sea, as winter turns to spring, then wild summer. Yet another is to sing for friends, family, and companions, your safe-and-soundness being a consistent reminder of the love you share over meals, chores, and downtime. This card is slow, turning time down to a creak if it can. It also winds the clock, for it’s quite predictable to find oneself at the start of another adventure post this card’s reign. A cycle’s end is its beginning, after all.
