Birthing something new requires sacrifice.
Birthing something new requires sacrifice.

After a decade of creating and sharing Tarot decks, a chapter of my artistic journey is coming to a close.

The Tarot decks I currently have in stock will be the final prints of both Dark Days Tarot and Mother Tarot. When they are gone, they’re truly gone.

If you’ve been meaning to add one to your collection, or gift one to someone special, now is the time.

For ten years, this work has connected me with people all over the world who are curious, intuitive, and deeply engaged with the mystical arts. It has been a magical journey, one filled with reflection, creativity, and community, and I am endlessly grateful for each person who has invited my decks into their practice and their lives.

The name "Dark Days" was born from my fascination with the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle, the “dark days” before bleeding begins.

I once regarded that time as something to endure, until discovering the work of Christiane Northrup, M.D., author of Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom. Her words helped me see that the moods, sensations, and insights that arise premenstrually are not flaws but signals; guides leading us toward our real needs and truths. From this revelation, Dark Days Tarot was born: a deck for anyone seeking clarity through ritual reflection.

My second deck, Mother Tarot, emerged during another transformative season; one of asking what motherhood, creation, and legacy truly mean. Inspired by the full moon, the divine mother, and the fertile energy of the Earth itself, that deck became an ode to creativity in all its forms.

Now, as a mother myself, my creative energy is moving in a new direction.

With limited time and energy to keep this business running alongside nudging artistic interests and the brilliant demands of motherhood, I have come to the decision that it's time to make space for the next phase of my creative journey…

…which means selling the last of my decks without ordering any more.

My upcoming artwork steps away from Tarot but continues to celebrate the feminine essence; the beauty, strength, and nuances of womanhood.

Through detailed paintings and illustrations, I’m exploring a life that feels more grounded, less tech-driven, and more aligned with what I hope to pass on to my child: a deep appreciation for the real, tangible world.

This transition marks both an ending and a beginning. I’ll be pouring my energy into a personal brand dedicated to these evolving pieces.

If my past work has resonated with you, I hope you’ll join me there; by following my updates (via my mailing list) as I share sneak peeks, invitations, and reflections on this new chapter.

Thank you for ten extraordinary years of Dark Days. Don't forget to grab your copy of the last printing of my decks if they call or resonate with you.

Your support, curiosity, and openness have made this path so meaningful.

With love and gratitude,

Wren
